The new Diddy lawsuits are gruesome. The first batch of the 120 plus suits that will be filed by Tony Buzbee are out and he alleges that Diddy used his businesses as “a sexual quid pro quo scheme” where being a singer or a model or having some job in his world meant you had to go along with whatever he wanted. But in so many cases it wasn’t even a two-way street—the quid pro quo was something Diddy dangled to get people to do what he wanted.
The stories are wild in these Buzbee suits—Diddy’s actions are brazen. He seems to believe that he can treat anyone in any way and no one will stand up to him. How could he do horrific things to so many people? He’s a sociopath which means he has zero concern for other people. He only uses them to get what he wants.
In the Buzbee suits, Diddy gives people drinks that are spiked with GHB, thus incapacitating them. In one suit, a man takes one drink at a party and suddenly feels out of it. He gets dizzy and then feels paralyzed within his body, aware of what’s around him, but unable to move. He says multiple men took advantage of him. He says he knows it was multiple because he could feel different sizes inside of him.
There’s also a lot of Diddy threatening people in these suits. He takes advantage of a woman at a party and then says, “You better not tell anyone or you will disappear.” In Macy’s, in the stock room, he forces himself into a man’s mouth right in front of his two bodyguards. As it happens Diddy says, “You like that, white boy?” At the end Diddy says, “Shut up or I’ll kill you.” At a party he demands a woman give him brain or he’ll have her and her friend killed. He’s constantly combining rape and the threat of murder.
Prior suits have established that Diddy felt like he could be violent toward people and get away with it. He had a security person in his employ whose job was to smooth things over with law enforcement whenever a problem arose. One of the older suits tells the story of Diddy shooting someone in a bathroom at a recording studio and then relying on his security person to convince police that the shooting happened outside the studio and thus had nothing to do with Diddy. The story ends with police walking away.
Buzbee also filed suit on behalf of someone who was a 16-year-old male. At a white party the boy was told to drop his pants and expose himself. The child was told that this was a rite of passage on the road to becoming a star. This accuser says Diddy, “sexually assaulted him by and through his power and influence over John Doe because he knew John Doe wanted to become a star.”
Diddy told people “this is what it takes to be famous” and then took advantage of them. He asked “what are you willing to do to become a star?” as he preyed on people’s dreams. People who wanted to get into the entertainment industry were told that this is part of breaking in. People who were willing to do anything to get in and were afraid of him because of his stature were vulnerable. He knew it and took full advantage.
I have been following Diddy for a long time through several outlets. He will stop at nothing. I felt sick when I heard he had a chance on his third bail before the appellate court. I could imagine what the victims were feeling. He’s worse than Epstein and Weinstein, although all three were buddies. When I think about those victims, especially the minors, I feel he doesn't deserve ever to get out!
How sad for that little boy and anyone who felt that fame and being in close proximity is worth the price they paid with their dignity.
