Joy’s Last Show Was Bittersweet

I almost cried

Joy’s last show was bittersweet. She approached the show with joy, with a spirit of resistance, with a vibe of “I will survive, I will survive, oh as long as I know how to love I know I’ll be alive.” Gloria Gaynor was playing in my mind throughout the show. On my last episode of The Cycle I cried, but Joy had her smile as her armor and she projected I’m gonna be just fine, y’all, thanks for taking this ride with me. She wore a jacket that was all about her show, a testament to it’s legacy.
