It started innocently. I made a Tiktok about going to vote with my wife. It was a sweet video about how we always vote together. We walked through the neighborhood to the polling place and then got caught in the rain. In the video I made it clear that I voted for Zohran Mamdani but that was not the point of the video and my wife did not discuss who she voted for. The video wasn’t about Mamdani, it was about me doing my civic duty and doing it alongside my wife of 20 years. But weeks later, on Instagram, someone was repackaging the video as evidence that my wife and I are anti-semitic. What? This is a wild story.
