Glad to hear you got sober, Brother. One of my brothers didn't make it. He passed from an addiction this summer. I've read that the opposite of addiction isn't sobriety, but connection. Does that ring true? Did having emotional connections with people around you help you to reach sobriety, in addition to differentiating the addition voice from your own?
